Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our clinical team. This role involves providing direct therapy services to children ages 412 through individual, group, and family sessions. The therapist will use evidence-based interventions, collaborate with families, and support childrens emotional, social, and behavioral development in both clinic and home settings.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Therapy & Patient Care

  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy tailored to children ages 412.
  • Conduct assessments (biopsychosocial, CANS, risk evaluations) and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize play therapy, CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and other age-appropriate interventions.
  • Engage parents / caregivers in psychoeducation and behavioral strategies.
  • Provide in-home therapy services and facilitate social-emotional skills groups.

Crisis Intervention & Safety

  • Assess and respond to crisis situations with de-escalation and safety planning.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement behavior management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with child safety and mandated reporting policies.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Partner with psychiatrists, medical providers, case managers, and educators.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and consultations.
  • Provide caregiver and teacher training on managing behavioral challenges.
  • Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, Medicaid standards, and professional ethics.
  • Stay updated on best practices and participate in professional development.
  • Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical mental health experience.
  • Strong skills in child-centered, evidence-based interventions (play therapy, CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
  • Experience in crisis intervention, treatment planning, and family engagement.
  • Commitment to cultural competency, regulatory compliance, and ethical practice.
