job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThe opportunity to program and optimize advanced Zeiss CMMs in a high-precision manufacturing environment A collaborative and technically focused team culture Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for ongoing development in inspection automation, metrology systems, and quality engineering Creating, modifying, and optimizing CMM programs using Calypso software for routine and complex inspections Performing dimensional inspections of precision parts and assemblies using Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines Analyzing engineering drawings and applying GD&T to ensure inspection accuracy and compliance Supporting first article inspections (FAI) , in-process checks, and final inspections Troubleshooting and resolving measurement discrepancies or software issues Documenting results, generating inspection reports, and supporting non-conformance investigations Collaborating closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in dimensional control Ensuring proper calibration, maintenance, and functionality of CMM and related metrology equipment Proven experience programming Zeiss CMMs with Calypso software Strong knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints Experience in a precision manufacturing environment (e.g. aerospace, medical device, automotive ) Familiarity with quality systems , inspection procedures, and ISO or AS9100 standards Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
