About This Role Claims Administrator
We are looking for a talented Claims Administrator that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for processing, administering and managing the property, workers' compensation, auto, and third-party liability claims in a timely and thorough manner.
What You'll Do
- Management of events involving workers compensation, auto, liability and property damage, inclusive of routing, administration, recordkeeping, and data entry
- Prepare correspondence presentations and reports for management and key customers
- Tracking and trending of claims events and related claims costs
- Analyze and revise claim data as new information becomes available
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the claims reporting procedures
- Collaborate with third-party administrators to analyze claims and determine the extent of the company's liability while continuously working to resolve
- Review billing and process claims correctly including, third party recoveries
- Assess claims documentation and determine its validity
- Investigate claims thoroughly, ensuring all necessary information is gathered
- Communicate with claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather additional information
- Document claims activities and maintain accurate records
- Assess expenses and settle claims with authorized limits
- Coordinate with claimants to resolve issues
- Assist with department trends and statistical information
