Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Layer 1 through Layer 3 technologies, a strong background in service provider environments, and the ability to support, maintain, and optimize complex networks. This role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining multi-vendor platforms, managing transport and IP networks, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support Layer 3 routing and switching, with a focus on Juniper platforms.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and Segment Routing.
• Manage and troubleshoot Layer 2 equipment, including RAD, Ciena, and MRV systems.
• Deploy and maintain Metro Ethernet services such as ELINE, ELAN, and ETREE, including service validation and troubleshooting using Y.1564 and Y.1731.
• Operate and maintain Layer 1 transport platforms such as Fujitsu, Optelian, DZS, and Cyan.
• Administer and update NCS circuit inventory management systems.
• Monitor and optimize network performance using SolarWinds NMS.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide escalation support for complex network issues.
• Document network designs, configurations, and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on network planning, provisioning, and incident resolution.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices.
• Formulation & execution of robust Vertical GTM & Account Plans
• Development & execution of Account-centric Contact Plans
• Identification & execution of upsell & cross-sell strategies
