Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical services in one of AMFM Healthcare’s core behavioral health programs. Reporting to the Executive Director, this leader ensures clients receive personalized, therapeutic, and impactful care. The Clinical Supervisor also supports and develops a team of clinicians while maintaining a strong focus on program integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This position combines hands-on clinical oversight with strategic leadership—ideal for a licensed clinician who’s ready to inspire change and build a career in behavioral health leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support clinical staff, offering ongoing guidance, and mentorship.

Design and maintain engaging, therapeutically appropriate programming aligned with evidence-based practices and payer requirements.

Ensure client care meets the highest clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Partner with internal stakeholders including admissions, utilization review, and HR to ensure smooth operational workflows.

Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.

Foster a culture of accountability, empathy, and professional growth across your team.

Monitor program metrics and contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Communicate program updates and outcomes to the Executive Team, providing recommendations as needed.

Qualifications

Required :

Master’s degree from an accredited university in a mental health-related field.

Full independent license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a mental health treatment setting.

Supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical environment.

Must be 21+ years of age and eligible for required background checks.

Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Preferred :

  • Prior experience working in residential or higher-acuity mental health treatment settings.

Deep knowledge of evidence-based treatment models and behavioral health best practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both verbal and written.

Collaborative leadership style with a passion for team development.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).

Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain composure under pressure.

Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.

Use of computers and standard office equipment.

Occasionally lift and move items up to 20 lbs.
