Compliance Manager

Job Summary

The Compliance Manager will assist in overall compliance program management to promote a culture that fosters ethical and compliant behavior in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the Shannon Code of Conduct. The Compliance Manager reports to and works with the Chief Compliance Officer to assist with compliance work plans, investigations, staff education, and internal and external audits.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate’s degree in nursing, health information management, or related field
  • OR-
  • Professional Certificate in coding, or related field

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field

    • Experience : Required

  • Three (3) years of experience in healthcare, compliance, auditing, and / or revenue cycle

    • Certification / Licensure :

    Preferred

  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
  • Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CMPA)
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
