Outside Sales Rep – Lumber & Building Materials

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Outside Sales Rep in the Lumber and Building Materials space to become a key member of our expanding team! In this role, you will be tasked with developing and nurturing customer relationships, uncovering new business prospects, and meeting sales goals. Leveraging your expertise in building materials, you will effectively convey and showcase the benefits of our client's products to customers. The Outside Sales Representative will drive business success by efficiently managing assigned territories and conducting on-site visits to customer locations.

Responsibilities for the Outside Sales Rep :

• Ensure delivery of target sales by meeting with customers and maintaining relationships
• Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential
• Analyze plans and trends to ensure best assignment of territories, clients, and service distribution.
• Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in industry networks, and growing lasting client relationships
• Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes and forecasting.
• Remain relevant with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand shifts, and product mix.
• Positively contribute to full sales and customer service teams
• Develop and collaborate on long- and short-term sales strategies
