Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Quality Inspector to join our team and ensure high-quality production standards are met. This role requires a technical skill set combined with strong soft skills and a keen interest in aerospace-related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Follow a set of instructions carefully and adhere to work procedures as outlined in official documentation.
• Communicate any issues or abnormalities promptly.
• Perform inspections according to mechanical drawings and / or IPC specifications.
• Verify that all parts, screws, and coatings meet required standards.
• Identify defects or inconsistencies that could impact product functionality.
• Use tools such as calipers and rulers for precise dimensional measurements.
• Ensure mechanical parts and subassemblies are assembled correctly and meet specifications.
• Verify that coatings are applied evenly and provide necessary protection or functionality.
• Document material flow through MRB (non-conformance) and IQC (incoming quality control).
• Identify and document defects, and communicate issues with the production and quality teams.
• Create and maintain rework instructions.
• Study, understand, and teach product quality standards to production line assembly operators.
• Provide mechanical measurement support to identify potential supplier, design, or manufacturing issues.
• Perform incoming material inspection on mechanical components and possibly PBCAs.

Shift : 6am-2 : 30pm

$26+ / hr depending on experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
