Yard Hostler

Overview :

The Yard Hostler is responsible for yard tractors, tractors, and straight trucks to position equipment to and from the yard and warehouse. Additional duties include operating warehouse power equipment and other assigned tasks when needed.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Perform pre-trip inspection and inspect trucks thoroughly.
• Move all trucks in and around the premises.
• Assist in picking products for production from various warehouse locations.
• Operate all warehouse equipment.
• Track all containers coming onto and leaving the premises.
• Perform acceptance of inbound loads (per company standards).
• Close and security seal truck after loading is completed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
