The City of Olympia Public Works Department is excited to bring on a Parking Services Supervisor to help lead the charge in keeping our Downtown vibrant, safe, and easy to navigate. In this role, you will guide a dedicated team of field staff including Parking Services Field Representatives, a Field Crew Lead, and a Program Specialist who are out there every day making a difference.

You will be in the heart of Downtown operations, managing daily enforcement activities, coaching staff, and ensuring top-notch customer service. Whether it's training your team, helping resolve a parking concern, or collaborating across departments, your leadership will help shape a parking program rooted in fairness, equity, and community connection.

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced, community-minded leader who understands the importance of balancing equitable parking enforcement with exceptional customer service. They are comfortable leading field-based staff and coordinating day-to-day operations in a dynamic downtown environment.

• Parking, Code Enforcement, or Field Operations Experience : Familiarity with municipal parking programs, related regulations and enforcement technologies is strongly preferred.

• Organized and Self Directed : Able to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Policy and Process Innovator : Skilled at reviewing, updating, and modernizing operational policies and proceduresparticularly those supporting fleet or field-based operations.

Salary and Benefits

Annual Salary : $96,534 to $117,338

This position is regular, full-time, and exempt.
