Providence Place of Lancaster is seeking to recruit a dynamic, compassionate and experienced Memory Support P rogram Director who is able to manage the daily operations of the secured Memory Support neighborhood and assist residents in activities of daily living and participation in a quality Memory Support Program. Other duties include, but not limited to : hiring, onboarding, coaching and performance reviews of co-workers, overall care of residents, care plans and needs, and ongoing training and education regarding Alzheimer's and dementia for all coworkers at the community.

Salary starting at $60,000- $70,000

• Communication skills that include empathetic, exquisite listening skills and appropriate referrals to other sources when needed. This includes the ability to clearly communicate goal-oriented intentions and directions to co-workers.
• Displays an ability to adapt and be flexible enough to adjust and make changes in the program or approaches to best meet the residents’ needs, especially under emergency situation.
• Exhibits organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle multiple demands / tasks concurrently.
• Demonstrated skill in or willingness to learn about interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, disciplining, coaching, and evaluating co-workers.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older person including a willingness to learn about Validation techniques and various therapeutic communication approaches.
