Job Title :  Registered Nurse - BMT

\nLocation (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?) :  Columbus, OH (onsite)

\nContract Duration : 13 weeks

\nWork Hours : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) | Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

\nTotal Weekly Hours : 36 \n\n \n\n \n\nBMT(14 & 15W) - Oncology - CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit

\n

\nSchedule : No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule. The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend. Must be flexible. Maximum 1-2 days RTO (Requested Time Off).

\n

\nIf you accept a 12D / N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.

\n

\nExperience : Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum)

  • Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult)

  • Amyloidosis

    • \n

  • Aplastic Anemia

    • \n

  • Chronic Leukemia

    • \n

  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)

    • \n

  • Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia

    • \n

  • Hodgkin's Lymphoma

    • \n

  • Multiple Myeloma

    • \n

  • Myelodysplastic Syndrome

    • \n

  • Myeloproliferative Disorders

    • \n

  • Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

    • \nSpecial Procedures / Unit Details :

    \n

  • Autologous Transplants : Patients receive their own stem cells.

    • \n

  • Syngeneic Transplants : Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin.

    • \n

  • Allogeneic Transplants : Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor.

    • \n

  • CAR-T Therapy

    • \n

    \nCertifications Required :

    \n

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

    • \n

  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification

    • \nOncology Certified

    \nPreferred Certifications :

    \n

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

    • \n

    \nSkills Required : \n

  • MS / Tele (Medical- Surgical / Telemetry)

  • Telemetry monitoring

  • Interpretation of dysrhythmias

  • Use of Rapid Response Teams

  • Feeding tube care and management

  • Central line blood draw
