Test Engineer

The Test Engineer, within the Harleysville Engineering group, will have the ability and skillset to develop and support a variety of electronic and electro / mechanical testing equipment validation. Additional duties include developing test procedures, test setups, troubleshooting product, supporting new product integration activities, and acting as the technical interface between other functional groups and other AMETEK sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and build manual and automated test equipment, including the development of the operating test software
• Provide support of new production test equipment into manufacturing environment
• Provide electronics test and troubleshoot support as related to PCB assemblies and electronic instruments
• Support new product development activities by working with the Design Engineering team to develop and implement test strategies and equipment
• Initiate improvement ideas and see through to implementation
• Any other work as assigned
