General Assembly Process Engineering Specialist

What you will do
- Serve as technical expert of assigned area during vehicle launches.
- Coordinate and lead project activities, including new equipment installation, supplier selection, and implementation phases.
- Prepare spec packages after reviewing requirements (Quality, Safety, UPH, Layout, Ergonomics, etc.).
- Communicate with the Advanced Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering Team in Korea and other relevant R&D teams from Korea / USA for successful launches.
- Host video conferences on new vehicle design improvements and status follow-up meetings.
- Prepare Assembly Process Sheets considering method and line conditions with detailed pictures and text.
- Explain work content through pictures drawn in the workers' positions according to work content, work order, and work status.
- Check the workability and quality of vehicle assembly.
- Check vehicle drawings (tightening hardware and torque, vehicle dimensions) and design work processes as the assembly sequence.
- Determine Man Hour based on MODAPTS and optimize allocation; analyze and continuously improve performance in safety, quality, production, cost, and human factors.
- Participate in Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and other problem-solving teams as directed by Senior Management.
- Serve as technical expert for team members and team leaders, including technical training as required.
- Support daily production issues as required.
- Continuously review technical developments in the area of responsibility and propose new technology projects as appropriate.
- Prepare presentations / reports on current projects, progress, and issues to management.
- Understand and control labor allocation; manage multitasking with multiple priorities within designated time frames.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.No disqualification for overseas travel or stay.Skills / Knowledge : MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint.Experience in vehicle assembly processes and equipment of General Assembly division.Experience or knowledge of the new plant construction process.Up to 5 years of job-related experience in an engineering / industrial environment.Experience in vehicle assembly automation and automatic supply of assembly parts.Preferred Skills / Knowledge : CATIA, CAD or similar programs.Good communication and leadership skills.Domestic and international travel may be required.What Hyundai can offer you
