Nonprofit Resources Position Description : Account Manager . Account Managers provide leadership to the staff serving a client. They are the liaison between Nonprofit Resources leadership and the client leadership. This position is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the client's or project's scope of work. Duties and Responsibilities
Support the mission and programs
Maintain healthy Board and Committee communicationExecute the strategic plan as directedPerform fiduciary function, including executing contractsMaintain Board minutesProvide secure and confidential maintenance of all information and assetsMembership :Manage association activities related to membership
Plan, supervise, and / or execute member servicesManage promotion and retention programsEvaluate results and recommend actions to achieve goalsManage member communication, including newsletters, general mailings, ballots, and surveysLeadership :Coordinate with supporting departments, including Finance, Web, Graphics, IT, and HR
Lead meetings as requiredServe as liaison for day-to-day client-staff matters. Oversee the scope of work and resources needed to achieve goalsCommunication :Production of publications, journals, newsletters, brochures, and directories
Ensure healthy communication with membersProgramming :Execute the client's programs, maintaining budget objectives
Finance :Monitor the annual budget. Ensure timely and accurate financial reports, bill payments, and revenue processing
Facilitate payment of Nonprofit Resources management invoicesRequired skills
Ability to travel to work-related eventsInitiative to learn about the industry and relevant concernsConsistent and dependable work ethic to meet and exceed deadlinesAbility to work independently and prioritize team timeProject management skills, including planning, delegating, task facilitation, and quality assuranceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage varied tasks in priority order and switch between clients and tasksStrong technical skills to work in a virtual environment : Microsoft 365 and online systems, including SharePoint and TeamsPreferred skills
Finance experience, including budget analysis and financial report interpretationPublic speaking experienceOnline experience working in : Association Management Software (AMS) platformsOnline event platformsWebinar or online meeting productionRequired qualifications and experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPrevious management and / or Project Management experiencePreferred qualifications and experience
Bachelor's Degree, or higher educationExperience working with associations and / or nonprofits, or AMCsProven ability to work effectively in a remote environmentProfessional certification, such as a Certified Association Executive (CAE)Job details
