Join our Whitehall Casting Operation to elevate performance where it matters most—safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Your mission : implement new methods, streamline processes, and deploy ABS and EHS improvements across all shifts, all while engaging and empowering employees. You’ll be a catalyst for continuous improvement and a guardian of a safe, orderly workplace.
What you'll do
- Lead a results-oriented team : communicate priorities, run stand-ups and meetings, manage performance reviews, staffing, and timekeeping, and align assignments to the plan.
- Coach for growth and accountability; deliver timely recognition and corrective feedback with proper documentation.
- Ensure thorough training and orientation : EHS rules, job proficiency, company policies, procedures, and business initiatives.
- Honor the collective bargaining agreement; interface with union representatives and handle grievances effectively.
- Analyze production and operations data to resolve manufacturing and maintenance issues quickly and at the lowest cost.
- Investigate deviations; recommend corrective and preventive actions for schedule, cost, quality, and related drivers.
- Ensure teams have the right tools, equipment, and supplies; reinforce use of the help chain.
- Collaborate with management, engineering, and quality to solve maintenance challenges and strengthen equipment reliability.
- Audit work practices for safety compliance; close gaps without delay.
- Plan, develop, and implement methods and procedures that reduce operating costs and maximize utilization of labor and materials.
- Lead and participate in safety inspections and housekeeping audits.
- Model compliance with all EHS rules required for the work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or a GED from an accredited institution.5+ years of manufacturing experience, OR a minimum of 1 year in a Howmet supervisory / leadership role.At least 5 years managing or supervising teams.Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.Experience in investment casting.Ability to present clearly and respond to questions from customers, managers, and employees.Proven leadership creating an engaged environment, including direct management of supervisors.Demonstrated success implementing lean, total quality, Six Sigma, and 6S.Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.Financial acumen.Legal
