Registered Nurse- ICU (Night Shift)

  • Location : Ocala, FL 34470
  • Shift : 12-hr Nights | 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
  • Job Type : Permanent
  • Guaranteed Hours : (36 hours / week)
  • Compensation : Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in Ocala, FL . As an ICU RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients in our Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing changes that require intervention.
  • Administer medications, manage IV lines, and provide treatments according to physician orders.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Educate patients and families regarding condition, treatment, and care after discharge.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Licensure :

    • Active Florida RN license or compact RN license .

  • Compact license holders must obtain a Florida RN license within 60 days of relocation.
  • Certifications :

    • Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN - Adult) must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
  • Experience :

    • Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required (within the last 3 years); prefers higher level acuity than Med / Surg.

  • Strong Med / Surg RNs will be considered.
