Outdoor Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Join a dynamic team as a Forklift Operator and contribute to production and logistics operations. The role involves operating machinery and forklifts, maintaining production records, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery on the production line.
• Stack pallets of bagged salt using a forklift.
• Operate the bagging machine to fill and seal bags.
• Shovel spilled salt outside as needed.
• Load and unload flatbed trucks with a forklift.
• Bag products efficiently.
• Clean the work area daily.
• Complete and report production paperwork accurately during and at the end of each shift.
• Keep precise records of production data.

Work Environment

The work environment is above ground, outside in the elements at the production site and shipping yard. Candidates will work in various weather conditions. The dress code includes jeans or shorts, a t-shirt with no offensive language or logos, and steel-toed boots or shoes. A uniform will be provided upon direct employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
