Healthcare Setting : Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center Unit : Medical Surgical Float – ED Overflow Contract Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025, End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Shift : Day shift, 12-hour shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 00); 36 or 48 hours per week available Weekend & On-Call : As needed Orientation : Comprehensive orientation provided Estimated Weekly Pay : $1780–$1910 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC compliant) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience (3 years preferred) At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment required Experience in large hospital and Level I Trauma Center required Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Cerner EMR experience preferred Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted) Pending licenses not accepted; must meet Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines Travel Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical / Surgical float unit, including ED overflow Collaborate within a team nursing model (LPNs, RNs, Nurse Techs, Resource Nurse) Float between similar units and campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system Follow hospital protocols and compliance standards Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Demonstrate flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required Explore Memphis – a top destination for healthcare professionals seeking rewarding travel nursing jobs.
