About The Position

11am-11 : 30pm. One working weekend shift / any shift / month. NBSTSA certification is required for this position at the time of submission. AHA BLS is required.NCCT accepted ( Agency to send verification at time of submission) that degree is be from a Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)- or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)- accredited program with a Surgical Technology major.Must have 2 years of OR experience in an acute care facility. They are looking for a CST with strong orthopedic skills; specifically able to do total joint cases independently.Must have vascular experience in both hybrid and open surge cases.Specialty Equipment : Infusion pumps, ultrasound machines, Laparoscopic Olympus Equipment, da Vinci Robot, Rosa Robot, Monarch Robot (Monarch specialized and not expected), SCD's, Bair Hugger, Microscopes, Neptune, smoke evacuators.Expected to assist the RN in overturning OR room (Clean, prep and mop), if needed. The facility will accept local candidates for this position. will accept locals.Facility can call off up to 3 shifts for 13-week contract and 2 shifts less than 13-week contract.Expected to work every other holiday. Eight hours of non-billable orientation.
