Equipment Mechanic - Field

Overview

Altec is seeking mechanics / technicians to support essential infrastructure. The role offers hands-on repair of heavy equipment and opportunities to work with a nationwide network of service centers and mobile technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components on heavy equipment
• Utilize technical resources (operators manuals, parts manuals, maintenance manuals, HowFactory) to troubleshoot, determine procedures, and identify parts for repair
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and prepare Reports
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
• Complete tasks in alignment with Altec Safety practices and procedures
• Advise supervisors of situations that may impact customer relationships
• Provide accurate information on required documents and demonstrate Altec values
• All other duties as assigned
