Chemical Synthesis and Surface Functionalization of Novel Nanomaterials via Plasma Technologies
Join to apply for the Chemical Synthesis and Surface Functionalization of Novel Nanomaterials via Plasma Technologies role at ORAU
About the Research
Conduct research on plasma-based chemical synthesis and surface functionalization for novel energetic materials, focusing on metal nanoparticles and nanocomposites using atmospheric and low-pressure plasma technologies. The work involves investigating plasma chemistry and physics, employing methodologies, and conducting material characterization to develop new pathways for producing diverse materials for Army applications. Products from various methods will be evaluated and optimized through different analyses. This project is a collaborative effort with scientists and engineers from ARL and external DoD / university partners to address technical challenges related to mission and customer-funded programs.
