Scheduling and Assignment Details
We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to provide one (1) week of continuous coverage per month , commencing in December on an ongoing basis.

Procedures and Responsibilities
The Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon will be responsible for providing expert, full-scope orthopedic trauma care. Key duties include initial assessment, stabilization, and definitive treatment of all orthopedic trauma patients, as well as management of general orthopedic emergencies.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must be a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and possess all necessary credentials to practice immediately in the State of Iowa. While a Trauma Fellowship is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. Applicants must hold an Active Iowa Medical License or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) , BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications, and an Active DEA registration.
