Proven ability to lead and motivate on-site teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of construction documents, codes, scheduling, and logistics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficient with project management tools and basic computer skills (Procore, MS Office, etc.). OSHA 30 certification preferred. We are working with a Construction firm in Houston, TX, with a strong portfolio of multifamily and commercial developments across the region.
Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations on active multifamily and commercial construction sites throughout the Greater Houston area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to final punch list.
- Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Monitor job site safety, enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Maintain detailed daily reports and ensure consistent communication with project managers.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets company and code standards.
- Help resolve issues quickly to minimize delays or cost overruns.
