The Front of House - Usher position is a key component of Hennepin Arts' customer service team, serving as the primary point of contact for most patrons attending events at our theatres. Ushers are responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring each guest feels comfortable and supported throughout their visit. They play an essential role in facilitating smooth entry, providing directions, offering assistance, and addressing any guest inquiries or concerns. By maintaining a high level of service, Ushers contribute to the overall success of the organization's diverse entertainment programming and help deliver an exceptional guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations - 60%

• Maintain the cleanliness and order of all theatre spaces and property
• Ensure a “show ready” condition prior to opening to the public
• Distribute programs and insert program changes as needed
• Respond to emergency or evacuation situations in accordance with the Theatre evacuation plan and provide direction to guests
• Assist in ensuring that all theatre policies are followed
