Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks Assemblers who wish to work in a fast paced and ever changing high tech environment. If you have demonstrated successful experience in manual dexterity, the ability to multi-task, and possess process improvement skills, we invite you to consider joining our innovative team!

We currently have availability on our second shift :

Second shift : Monday Friday, 2 : 00pm 10 : 00pm

As an Assembler, a typical day might include the following :

  • Following detailed work instructions to perform basic production duties such as assembly, operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.
  • Obtaining a basic understanding of quality and productivity standards.
  • Demonstrating a willingness to learn, retain information, and become proficient in basic electronic production processes.
  • Learning and following all safety policies.
  • Developing positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Assembly experience.
  • Word processing and spreadsheet skills.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently
  • Sit and / or stand at least 8 hours
  • Vision correctable to 20 / 30 or better

  • Pinch
  • Fine finger dexterity sufficient to handle and place parts with precision and accuracy for at least 8 hours

    Pay Range Data

    New hires generally start at $21.00 per hour. This shift also offers a shift differential of $1.75 per hour on top of the $21.00 starting wage. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
