Courier

Courier delivers home infusion supplies and medications. Also, delivers medication from Prairie Medical Pharmacy to patients over a large area. Courier will be on call for 24 hour periods over 1 to 2 weeks per month.

Department : Prairie Medical Pharmacy Hours : PRN - As needed - 24 hour periods over 1 to 2 weeks per month.

Required : Valid IL Driver's License and High School Diploma

Pay : Based on experience, starting at $16.14

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies, reports, forms, mail, instruments and other specified items to the clients from Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System.
• Develop close relationships with clients and pass information to the lab as deemed necessary for client-lab relations.
• Drive a courier vehicle in a safe, but timely manner to locations assigned on time schedule.
• Maintain a collaborative framework for SBL and medical community to provide services to the patient population.
• Maintain proper operating conditions for courier vehicles and assure timely maintenance or repairs are performed.
• Records daily specimen pick up information using the Outreach Operations Application via OPS Handheld Devices
• Utilize proper containers and preservatives for specimen transfer to the hospital laboratory.
