About The Position

Must-Have :

Strong experience in Interventional Radiology.

Experience with various diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Familiarity with essential equipment in the Cath Lab.

Description :

This position requires a Special Procedures Cath Lab Tech with strong Interventional Radiology skills.

Experience is needed in neuro, vascular, and cardiac procedures.

The daily caseload averages around 15 patients.

Familiarity with charting systems is required, though specific experience with Epic is not mandatory.

First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

The candidate will participate in on-call duties, including one call weekend every 3-5 weeks.

Candidates must possess certifications in ACLS, BLS, and ARRT (R).

Primary equipment includes Philips imaging systems and various catheterization tools.

Candidates will be required to float within the Cath Lab to meet facility needs.

Local candidates will not be accepted due to a 75-mile radius rule.

Candidates with pending licenses will be considered.

The facility sees a range of patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

The Cath Lab specializes in procedures such as TAVR, Mitraclip, and Watchman, performed by an in-house team.

Candidates must have strong competencies in cardiac procedures, including stenting and catheter placements.

Additional procedural knowledge is needed for diagnostic catheterizations and patient monitoring.

It is essential to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and to maintain a sterile field during all procedures.

Candidates should have a thorough understanding of isolation precautions and infection control measures.
