Experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Full-time.

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and professional Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our growing team!  We are looking for someone who can multi-task and is enthusiastic about their work.  We are a high-tech, fast-paced, privately owned dental practice. This position is full-time. Hours are 7 : 30 AM - 4 PM.  4 days a week.  Alternating Mondays and Fridays off.  We offer competitive wages based on experience.   No evenings or weekends.  Please submit a resume for consideration. Job Details :

  • You must possess 2+ years of experience in dental assisting.
  • This EFDA position entails working chairside with 4-handed general dentistry (placing restorations, sealants, taking digital xrays, coronal polishing, Itero scanning, dental photography, assisting with PVS and alginate impressions, etc.), assisting with oral surgery as needed.
  • You will be responsible for the breakdown / disinfection and set-up of operatories, sterilization of instruments, weekly maintenance of equipment, assisting doctors with all scopes of dentistry, office maintenance, etc.
  • Benefits include 1 week of paid vacation after 6 months of employment.
  • After 1 year of employment : 2 weeks paid vacation and 3 paid sick days, and 401K at 3% unmatched PLUS year-end profit sharing.

Position Requirements :

  • Valid PA EFDA license.
  • Digital office - requires the ability to utilize a computer and a variety of software applications.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills & work well with others to execute common goals.
  • Ability to articulate.
  • Work at an efficient pace.
  • Ability to follow directions and multi-task as needed.
  • Friendly personality.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with our practice.
  • Empathetic chairside manner for our patients.
