• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of all clinical hospital application programs and systems and ensures conformity with design specifications, project objectives, and departmental quality standards.
• Coordinates the design of efficient high quality clinical application programs and systems by preparing test data and testing programs, screens, and job streams in order to ensure conformity with project specifications and departmental quality standards. Creates efficient and logical program code and writes clear and concise system descriptions that meet project requirements and departmental quality standards.
• Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the clinical applications insuring that the most effective, efficient, and timely processing methods are used.

4. Provides guidance and support to staff members, aids in removing performance barriers, and facilitates effective problem solving among employees. Reviews departmental performance, identifies performance deficits, and implements prudent recommendations that promote departmental efficiency. Identifies, resolves, and facilitates the resolution of departmental problems, and encourages employees to voice ideas for better hospital operation, improved communication between staff members, and higher quality health care services.
