Responsibilities :
- Lead the Procurement Staff for BlackSea.
- Act as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
- Manage Procurement Staff in their performance of activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Ensures compliance to MAPC Procurement Manual to meet CPSR requirements
- Teach and mentor Procurement Staff to MAPC Procurement requirements
- Set workload priorities for the Procurement Staff
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Required Skills / Experience :
Experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and / or Procurement practices and processesExperience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and / or vendorsExperience leading a team or program.Experience managing suppliers / vendors to deliver products and servicesExperience leading a Procurement Team through at least one successful CPSR audit by DCMADesired Skills / Experience :
BS degree or experience in lieu of a degreeStrong supplier negotiation skillsExperience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers.Experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams.Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performanceBenefits :
