Summary

We are seeking an Anode / Cathode Assembler to join our dynamic team at Chronos Imaging. Located in Aurora, IL, this role is vital to our manufacturing process, ensuring that our CT replacement tubes are assembled with precision and care. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and Environmental, Health & Safety requirements, including responsibility for the quality of work, proper documentation / recordkeeping, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and safety protocols.
  • Execute work orders for all filaments, cathode, and anode assemblies.
  • Inspect materials and assemblies before assembly to ensure they meet acceptable limits.
  • Maintain daily communication with the team regarding material, quality, and equipment issues.
  • Submit notifications for equipment downtime.
  • Execute Preventive Maintenance and Calibration work orders.
  • Complete all assigned training programs.
  • Perform spot welding, metal joining, laser welding.
  • Assemble bulk getter assemblies.
  • Perform filament setting.
  • Perform bearing assembly
  • Assemble Anode Rotors / Anode Targets
  • Balance and pin assemblies
  • Clean and inspect Anode Assemblies
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Basic computer knowledge for data entries
  • 2-5 years of experience in precision assembly
  • Proficient knowledge of hand and measuring tools
  • Experience working with magnifying aids (microscopes)
  • Basic knowledge of machine shop operations
  • Operational knowledge of lathes and presses
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs. with or without assistance
