Industrial MachineMaintenance Technicians

Contract to Hire

Shifts : 1st and 3rd

Pay rates : $27.00 - $33.00 hr

Summary

This position is responsible for the routine, preventive and predictive maintenance a variety of manufacturing equipment including electric and hydraulic injection molding machine, high speed production assembly equipment, filtration membrane manufacturing and converting equipment. The position also supports maintenance needs of facility support equipment and processes.

Activities will Include :

  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to production equipment.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  • Interact with computer based maintenance database system
  • Assist in maintaining equipment information and repair files.
  • Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and research.
  • Work directly with production personnel to isolate equipment problems.
  • Participates in plant environmental, health, and safety programs.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, disciplines.
  • Must have good troubleshooting skills.
  • The ability to read and comprehend equipment technical schematics and service manuals.
  • Familiarity with Ultrasonic welding a plus
  • Must have good computer skills to effectively use E-mail, maintenance data bases as well as office documents such as Word, Excel etc.
  • Ability to write clear and detailed repair reports.
  • Must have good communication skills and effectively work in a team environment.
  • Position may require handling, labeling, moving and monitoring Hazardous and Universal Waste and will require training applicable to waste handling responsibilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
