Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least two years of PICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a General Pediatric Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19 : 00-07 : 30
  • Must work the 12 / 25 PM shift during the contract
  • Floating is mandatory and may include ICU, PCU, or MS units as needed
  • Pediatric ICU nursing with diverse patient cases
  • Cerner charting system is used, with experience preferred but not required
  • Must work 50% of holidays during the contract
  • Floating as a Patient Observer (Sitter) may be required throughout the facility
  • Locals within a 75-mile radius are considered at a lower rate
  • No re-orientation required if returning within 18 months, with a 9-month gap required between travel assignments
  • Holiday coverage and flexible scheduling based on unit needs

  • Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Current PALS and BLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of overall RN experience and 1 year in Pediatric ICU
  • TNCC certification appreciated but not required
