What You'll Do
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other design professionals to create coordinated, high-performing building systems.
Design cutting-edge electrical, lighting, and low-voltage systems across a range of project types.
Apply electrical engineering principles with precision, using company-standard software to calculate power loads for buildings, ensuring system accuracy and reliability.
Design comprehensive power distribution systems, including main service, panelboard feeder distribution, and branch circuits.
Develop innovative lighting designs, performing fixture selection, illumination calculations, and integrating advanced controls such as zoning, dimming, daylighting, and occupancy sensors.
Perform fault current and voltage drop calculations, documenting results clearly and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Ensure designs meet Energy Code requirements, completing Comcheck documentation for code compliance.
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, coordinating closely with multiple disciplines to ensure seamless design and construction.
Prepare and maintain organized documentation of design assumptions, client directions, calculations, and conclusions.
Contribute to project success through effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams, maintaining timelines and delivering high-quality results.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of relevant building systems design experience.
Proficiency with Revit , Bluebeam , and related electrical design software.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
