Inventory Supervisor - A Shift
The typical schedule for this position is a rotating 12-hour shift 7 : 00 a.m. - 7 : 30 p.m. with rotating holidays.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Inventory Supervisor is a working supervisor and supervises / assists with stock put away, quick issues / STAT orders, receiving, order picking, and product returns on “A” Shift of the Inventory Management department, and provides exceptional customer service. Reports to department leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs same duties as the team they lead, working alongside their team and leading by example.
Assists with Receiving duties when short staffed to ensure product is received and distributed in a timely manner.
Assists with stock put away and ensures team members stock product in the correct location in the warehouse and that no product is left on the floor.
Performs cycle counts as directed by the Supply Chain Director and / or other department leadership.
Assists with order picking for all departments.
Resolves customer complaints in real time related to order issues and collaborates with department leadership as needed to resolve inventory and order issues.
Coordinates STAT orders.
Works with department leadership and analysts on product slotting and ensuring inventory accuracy.
Ensures outgoing orders to satellite locations are staged correctly for drivers.
Assists team with checking product expiration dates.
Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required Education and Experience
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Minimum of three years of inventory management experience, preferably in medical supply inventory management.
Experience working with inventory management software.
Preferred Education and Experience
Associate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to direct work with subordinates, explain department policies and procedures and communicate effectively with other professionals.
Must demonstrate team building and problem resolution skills
Must meet the insurability policy requirements to drive a CHKD vehicle.
Must be able to pass the CHKD driving test within 30 days of employment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Warehouse and / or exterior environment. Possible exposure to extreme temperatures.
