Forklift Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Forklift Operator for a company based in Hanover, MD. Forklift Operators will assume responsibility for various aspects of the warehouse including shipping / receiving, product storage, and delivery set-up.

Pay Rate

$20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

1st Shift 5am – 1 : 30pm

2nd Shift 1 : 30pm – 10 : 00pm

Monday – Friday

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety compliance as per company policy.
  • Process orders by accurately pulling materials and placing them for customer pickup or delivery, including loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
  • Maintain inventory controls to minimize materials damage and ensure order accuracy.
  • Organize and manage bin locations within the warehouse.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service while managing equipment maintenance and efficient loading of delivery trucks.

Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements

  • Forklift certified with 3+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrate self-management, initiative, and proactive behavior.
  • Maintain professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with coworkers and customers.
  • Ability to lift 60lbs frequently and move within the warehouse; must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and task prioritization.
  • Exhibit multitasking abilities, receive, and convey accurate information, and provide prompt solutions to problems.
