Staff Accountant

Location : Albuquerque, NM 87107

Schedule : 100% On-Site | Monday–Friday | 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Salary Range : $50,000 – $60,000

Company Overview

LHH has partnered with a Native-owned , 8(a) certified organization headquartered in ABQ , New Mexico , 87107. They are seeking a Staff Accountant with 2–3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting . The ideal candidate will be a full-charge bookkeeper with strong hands-on experience, capable of working independently with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general ledger (GL) accounting and journal entries

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Assist with financial reporting and audits

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data

Identify and solve accounting issues proactively

Qualifications

2–3 years of full-cycle accounting experience

Strong understanding of GL work and journal entries

Proven ability to problem-solve and work independently

Experience with QuickBooks Online (QVO) preferred

Familiarity with Sage 100 is a plus (transition planned next year)

Formal education is not required if experience is strong

Preferred Profile

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment

Pay Details : $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
