You will be joining a forward-thinking team committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to a medically underserved community. This isn't just any role; it's a pivotal position that transforms lives, offering care during pivotal moments in women's lives, from pregnancy and childbirth to essential general medical care. Through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Program, you have the opportunity to receive up to $50,000 for every two years of service within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Furthermore, gain financial growth through the Texas Physician Education Loan Repayment Program, covering up to $180,000. With a multitude of benefits, flexible schedules, and a 30-hour workweek, this role offers both professional fulfillment and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care for women during evaluation, treatment, and management. Deliver exceptional medical care relating to pregnancy and childbirth. Diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases impacting women's reproductive systems. Occasionally provide general medical care to women. Participate in clinical or operations-related meetings, including occasional after-hours commitments. Be available for on-call services as required. Required Qualifications Medical Doctorate with current Texas licensure. Current DEA License. Completion of ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency or clinical fellowship in OB / GYN. Certification in OB / GYN by the ABOG or AOBOG. Experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Spanish speaking is preferred for enhanced patient communication.
