Medical Staffing for Corrections, Tribal Wellness and Behavioral Health Facilities

Seeking : Seeking

Registered Nurse (RN)

to assist full time, all shifts, within the local Department of Corrections prison in Wilsonville, Oregon.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned nurse looking to add to their career and utilize all of their acquired skills in a population that needs support!

Position Details :

  • Hours : Full-time
  • Hiring Immediately
  • Paid Orientations & Facility Trainings

Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :

  • Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the detention unit
  • Must be able to work in a correctional facility environment and treat inmates with respect
  • Effectively document wellness checks and all forms of patient care
  • Accurate and efficient triage & clinical skills
  • Accurate assessment skills

    • Licensure / Education :

  • 3 years (minimum) required as a credentialed Registered Nurse
  • Urgent care, emergency, and corrections experience will be highly valued
  • BSN preferred
  • Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse License

    • Employment Qualifications :

  • Current BLS Certification
  • Ability to obtain current Tuberculosis Test and Drug Screen prior to employment
  • Reliable transportation to all scheduled shifts
