Project Manager

Looking for a 5+ year PM to grown into an SPM within 2 years. Above market culture and work / life balance.

My client is a 3rd generation family-owned company, that has been around for over 100 years. Office is about 50 people total. 20 of those being office staff and the rest making up their field team. This firm did $80M in 2024 and have about that on the books for 2025. They aim to see a 15% growth margin in the company each year. Keep all work local to Kansas City. Project Types : Public, Healthcare, Historic Renovation, K-12, Multifamily, Corporate. Great tenure amongst the business. They look for people who subscribe to their core values. Job Description

Manage all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management and clients. Ensure timely procurement of materials and resources to meet project deadlines. Lead and mentor project teams to achieve optimal performance and outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have : a strong background in construction management or a related field. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective team collaboration. Familiarity with construction management software and tools. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
