Senior Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Nashville, TN based candidate to fill a Senior Reporting Analyst role within Global Fund Administration. The Global Fund Administration department ("GFA") is responsible for the oversight of approximately 600 pooled investment vehicles domiciled in the US, Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, as well as other global jurisdictions. These investment vehicles include 1940 Act mutual funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Collective Investment Trusts (CITs), Luxembourg UCITS & AIFs, UK OEICs, Delaware Business Trusts (DBTs), hedge funds and alternative & structured products.

GFA has staff in the US, Luxembourg and Pune who oversee the day to day Net Asset Value ("NAV") calculation as well as the regulatory and client reporting requirements for each product and distribution channel. GFA also provides support and guidance to AB's business units including Portfolio Management, Legal & Compliance, Product Management & Development, Marketing, Sales, Transfer Agent, Investor Relations as well as external business partners.

The Senior Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Senior Management Team and the overall GFA department. The role will be balanced with much of the role involving the executive support and coordination for multiple Senior Managers within GFA, while having involvement in the following functions or activities :

  • Providing proactive, thoughtful, high-quality support.
  • Assisting in the preparation of regular reports and presentations.
  • Board / Executive Meeting Coordination and Preparation (including but not limited to coordinating audit committee and Board meeting agendas and materials, tracking audit team membership, NCSR templates and agendas, Board Meeting Fees and Director Travel Expense processing, Lux Board Meeting preparation, rep letter processing, etc)
  • Tax Activities related to the funds (including but not limited to tax payment requests from tax vendors, tax grids for offshore funds, tax filings, tax notices, notarize tax documents, etc)
  • Interacting with various professionals, senior leaders and other administrative professionals throughout the firm.
  • Multitasking efficiently, as well as managing requests with the ability to anticipate needs and prioritize accordingly.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion and maintaining privacy at all times.
  • Managing internal product announcements

What We're Looking For :

  • Have a strong understanding of data analysis, reporting tools and business processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • To be able to go with the flow and have the ability to adapt on the fly.
  • An Associate's degree in business administration or higher.
  • Proficiency in the use of typical office desktop packages, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel PowerPoint.
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to operate independently with often little direction.
