We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Santa Monica, California. In this contract position, you will play a key role in managing payment processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance within our financial operations. Responsibilities :

Process vendor invoices with precision, ensuring accurate coding and adherence to company policies.

Manage payment methods, including ACH and check runs, while maintaining timely and secure transactions.

Reconcile discrepancies in invoices and resolve issues with vendors promptly and professionally.

Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and resolve payment-related queries.

Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.

Monitor outstanding payments and address overdue accounts to ensure timely resolution.

Review and update vendor account information to maintain accurate records.

Implement improvements to accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements :

A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.

Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Plaisne or similar platforms.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactions accurately.

Familiarity with coding invoices and managing automated payment processes.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.

Knowledge of ACH and check run processes is highly desirable.
