About The Position

• 2 years of OR circulating experience in an acute care hospital
• Varied skill set in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery

Description :

The unit has 8 operating rooms and a staff of 13 registered nurses and 10 scrub technicians.

The OR operates from 07 : 30 to 17 : 00 with a patient ratio of 1 : 1.

The typical equipment used is EMR Meditech ORM.

Candidates with neuro spine experience and CNOR certification are preferred.

Typical procedures performed include general surgery, robotics, colorectal surgery, neuro spine, orthopedic, and urology.

Candidates must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Artificial nails, dips, gels, and similar enhancements are not permitted.

Weekends are covered by on-call shifts, with rotational call days based on current staff.

Call shifts during the week begin at the end of the regular shift and may last until the following morning.

The shift starts at 06 : 30 with a daily huddle at 06 : 45.

A 45-minute response time is required for on-call duties.

The position is available due to a vacancy.
