Raw Material Handler

The Raw Material Handler plays a critical role in the daily operations by managing shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory activities. This position supports production operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift, with preference for experience in wide load forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks using fork trucks, pallet jacks, and / or hand trucks, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Unpack crates and boxes, verify item accuracy and condition, and document any issues.
• Handle incorrect or defective parts by placing receipts on hold and coordinating with appropriate vendors for resolution.
• Process all Jobscope system transactions related to shipping, receiving, and bin transferring accurately.
• Assist with production operations, including roll-forming skin panels as needed.
• Maintain shipping and receiving files and assist with customer return receipts.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m. The environment is non-climate controlled, with metal cutting tasks that can be dirty and extremely hot during summer months. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots and eye / ear protection, is required. Employees should be able to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift and move weights ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
