What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support residents and staff at the location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to support a welcoming and orderly atmosphere.Report all observed irregularities, incidents, and / or hazards according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.Monitor access points and check for unauthorized entry or suspicious activity, taking appropriate action as directed by site policies.Assist with emergency evacuations and other emergency response activities as required by the shelter's procedures.What We're Looking For :
