As a Chronic In-Center Dialysis Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients with renal failure. Your contributions will directly impact their quality of life, and you will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN).
Your key responsibilities include :
- Patient Care : Engage directly with patients to ensure safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include monitoring patient statistics before and after treatments, initiating and terminating treatment, and collecting blood samples as per physician orders.
- Technical Duties : Maintain quality standards by preparing dialysis machines, ensuring cleanliness and disinfecting procedures, conducting safety checks, and logging all results to comply with protocols and regulations.
- Safety and Compliance : Adhere to safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment. Work under the guidance of a Charge Nurse to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Actively participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs.
This position is based at our Hawkinsville Clinic, located at 292 Industrial Blvd, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.A genuine passion for healthcare and patient care.Previous experience in healthcare, particularly in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.Comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to established protocols.Able to distinguish all primary colors.Additional Requirements :
Successfully complete the USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, demonstrating competency within 8 weeks of hire.Obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire.Receive Patient Care Technician certification through a state or nationally recognized program within 18 months of hire and maintain certification.Are you ready to impact lives?
