Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, implement, and oversee strategic projects to optimize the PCB production process. The role involves designing methods and tools to evaluate current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and apply Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Program creation and update of SMT / THT production equipment (screen printer, laser marker, PNP, AOI)
• Manage repairs of SMT / THT production equipment
• Document and train SMT / THT production employees
• Perform OEE calculation of SMT / THT equipment
• Maintain SAP routing
• Set up a plan to improve production equipment downtime
• Train operation personnel on new processes and equipment operation
• Participate in engineering change meetings to address PCB production impact and manage PCB production pilots
• Interface with SMT production equipment manufacturers to address equipment issues
• Interface with PCB designer to generate specifications for production
• Solve PCB quality issues reported at MRB
• Adhere to ESD policy and practices
• Introduce new innovative technologies to improve productivity
