Significance immediately needs an Operational Planner (Senior) to provide strategic and operational planning support to MCICOMs Deliberate Plans Section. The Operational Planner will conduct detailed reviews and assessments of MCICOMs strategic capabilities and their alignment with Marine Corps operational requirements and priorities.
Key Responsibilities :
This position involves developing and implementing organizational strategies for Marine Corps installations, including Installation Next (I-Next) and Force Design (FD) planning. The Operational Planner will support the development of an organizational strategy, mission, vision, values, and critical objectives to optimize infrastructure, services, and risk mitigation efforts to support FMF readiness.
Responsibilities include conducting policy reviews and proposing updates to installation planning directives, supporting fiscal and budgetary execution for Future Year Defense Program (FYDP) resource requirements, and developing strategic plans such as the Installation Plan (IPLAN) and Installation and Logistics Campaign Plan. The Operational Planner will also provide conference planning and meeting support for inter-agency conferences, symposia, and workshops.

The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
