Shift & Scheduling : Every other weekend. Holiday requirements
Required Skills / Experience : Hourly rounding, bedside hand-off reporting, completion of “My Care Board” during hand-off report; use of AIDET with a focus on compassionate connected care. Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients, ICU experience. Advanced skills needed : Ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge, thorough and accurate assessment skills, and proficient knowledge with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems, and Don and Doff of PPE.

Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit : Intubations, cardioversions, ventriculostomy drain placement and management, IABP management, continual renal replacement therapy (CRRT), proning of patients.
Types of Patients on Unit :
Equipment Used on Unit : Ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, Balloon pumps, ventriculostomy drains, glucometers. Use of iMobile phones and technology by all staff in the hospital. PPE- includes mask, face shields, goggles, PAPR’s and hoods for our COVID-19 patients.
Technology Used on Unit : Meditech using EBCD (Evidence Based Clinical Documentation)

Floating Requirements : Nursing staff will float to other Medical-Surgical Units in the hospital as needed with priority focus on pulling to Intensive Care Units.
